Dear Mommy

by Jay   Dec 21, 2005

~*This is actually a song I wrote that I will be putting on my new CD but I want to know what people think of it :), Jay*~

You went away when I was just 5 years old
I didn't understand 'till I grew older what I was told
Daddy treated you so bad, that you had to get away
So you ran to the station, and you caught the nearest train

Why did they tell me mommy, that you never came?
When every year on my birthday, you were there, but got sent away

And Daddy didn't like it
So he took you to the lake in the back of his car
Dumped you in
And now mommy thats where you are
Daddy tells me why
Oh Mommy
This story still makes me cry

The years I've sepnt searching
For my mommy who I lost long ago
The years I've spent wasting
All the time my daddy knew
That I was never
I was never gonna find you

And Daddy didn't like it
So he took you to the lake in the back of his car
Dumped you in
And now mommy thats where you are
Daddy tells me why
Oh Mommy
This story still makes me cry

The was nothing you could have done
Fate had already won
Your battle was already lost

(Instrumental)

The years I spent searching
The years I spent waiting you for
All that time
Daddy knew
I would never find you

Now Daddy's had his day
I never loved him anyway
And now Daddy's gone
I listend to how he thought he'd won
So Mommy I grabbed the gun
I'm sorry Mommy.
Love your only son
But Daddy had to pay for what he'd done
