Why Do Bad Things Happen?

Why do bad things happen?
Why do people die?
For our understanding to sharpen,
And to realize,

Life for what it is,
And not only what it seems.
To set ones life in order,
And to carry out ones dreams.

To realize how much you care,
About the people close to you.
To help us to share
Our strength and to be true,

To one another,
Each and all.
To love all like a brother,
The strong, the weak, the large, the small.

Why do bad things happen?
Why do we all cry?
As angels of the innocent go flyin',
Into that cloudless, blue sky.
