The Never-Ending Fairytale (Letter To My Heart)

by PassingAngel   Dec 21, 2005

Dear me,

And so I'll write the words I'll never say
The things I'll never ask
The promises I never made
And maybe you'll forgive me
For the mistake I never made
And I'll say sorry
For forgiveness of nothing said

And I'll imagine the birthdays
We'll never celebrate
And the relationships
We'll never create

I'll imagine our wedding day
To never come
When you'll stick the never-wedding-ring
On my thumb

And we'll have our happy fairytale ending
A romantic never-moonlight-walk on the beach
Where the imaginary flowers bloom all around us
And the made-up birds of paradise sing us a chorus

But then the fantasy will end
Of our never-beginning-life
Of you and I together
You as my husband and I, your wife.

This is a letter to my heart.

Sincerely,

Myself
