Watch Me Fall

Just sit back and watch me
watch me while i fall,
the bitter tears sting my cheeks
as i whisper a silent call.

Watch me as i drift from you
as i slowly float away,
i hide the deep red crimson tears
for i know i cannot stay.

Watch me live the stories
the darkest books will tell,
they scream in arrows of fire
coughed up from the depths of hell.

Watch me draw a distance
away from all who care,
i don't want to see the parade of black
with shattered wails of despair.

Watch me unsheathe my weapon
to commit my sinful crime,
releasing my spirit from within
bleeding for the last time.

Watch me leave your world
in a veil of the purest white,
my broken wings mended, I'll disappear,
engulfed in the blackened night.
