She Found Her Angel

by **Just Her**   Dec 27, 2005

She walked for hours
In the cold, dark night
Alone and fragile
No destination,
No dircections
She was looking for heaven

He saw her strolling carelessly
And he ran over to her side
She continued on the path
Like he didn't exist
He put his arm around her
But she simply pushed him away

She continued alone
The stars drawed lines in the sky
And she followed the pattern
She believed each was a halo
Angels would lead her
She would find a way

They saw her strolling carelessly
So they yelled out her name
When she didn't respond
They figured she wanted to be by herself
So they turned for home
Thinking she would be back soon

She walked peacefully
Silent tears flooded her eyes
Her faith was all she had
She believed it would take her somewhere
Take her to the beautiful
Take her to heaven, take her to happiness

Her friend saw her walking alone
Her friend ran infront of her
She tried to walk around, but it was no use
She was about to turn around
When her friend said
"Smile for me"

She stared into her sincere eyes
And her friend hugged her
With tears still falling, heart still breaking
She smiled, not because she was happy
But because someone gave her a reason too

They turned around, arm in arm
She found her heaven, she found her angel
It was not a boyfriend, it was not family, it was her best friend
