Smeared

by evangeline   Dec 28, 2005

Blood red stain eminates
From glacered veins from heaven's face
An angel's lips and tipped the smile
That melted the hardest of darkest tile
From bare room walls the thickest of shade
Who's emerald eyes do feel serenade
Of crystal clear solemn procession
The red, red redemption
Crimson shades streak down the cheek
Of skin as clear as glass is weak
And hair the shade of sheer sunlight
With honey and gold mixed all aright
The crystal cheek reflects the touch
Of the moon and stars that she did brush
But nothing has eased this trickled shed
Of flowing evanescence nightly bred
At darkest night in memory of pale
Reflections of soul, followed by wail
Pitching scream from the middle of dread
That began this flow of surmountable red
Onto dress so white that eyes must turn
Upon first sight or possibly burn
Would effect the glance to disarray
But beauty that rises from deepened fray
Within her soul she still retains

love those lines! the imagery is quite stunning. I love the crystal cheek bit, sounds so precious yet so fragile at the same time xx
