Angels in Heaven

by Michael D Nalley   Dec 28, 2005

Angels in heaven, and I on this earth
Sing His praises for all we are worth
Tears of joy replace tears of sorrow
In the hopes of a better tomorrow

Angels in the sky like the stars in space
As I, will not forget the smile on your face
The image that gives you the right
Or the privilege to take your flight

For every mistake someone pays the cost
But nary a tear from heaven is ever lost
Mercy does fall like rain upon the meek
Cleansing the hearts of those who seek

Remember as we gazed at the beaver's dam
You are who you are and I am who I am
We must not stray from sorrow lest we roam
Oh so far from the joy of our true Home
