The Sweet Shop

by x-Emma-x   Dec 29, 2005

Those great big glass jars
Full of brightly coloured goodies
Look down on us
As we wait our turn in the queue.

100g of liquorice torpedoes,
A handful of some barley sugars,
Those soft pink marshmallows,
Oh, and don't forget the fudge.

One after another,
The customers wait,
Till the shop empties
And it's time to stock up.

Empty jars re-filled
For the days ahead
Paper bags at th ready,
Oh the great fun
Of the
SWEET SHOP.
