Mother, My Pearl

by LadyPearl   Dec 29, 2005

Oh beautiful Mother, such sweetness in you
Like an angel, your songs of love are true
What have I done to deserve a mother like you
You're who I dreamed of, and inside me I knew

That in this world, there's none like a mother's love
The way you love me sents me high above
I thank the Lord for this precious, pure pearl
A pearl that means more to me then anything in the world

There are times when I hurt you and make you sad
But when I say sorry, I know inside I'm glad
to have an understanding mother to hold me tight
A mother who has always got me through the night

Love is beautiful when I have you with me
You're so delicate, light, and so lovely
Nothing shall hurt this mother of mine
Together we will stand against ages of time
