I am nothing in the eyes of my love

by mary jetton   Dec 30, 2005

In the eyes of my love,
I am nothing.
To him,
It's like i was never even born.

Alone I sit in the shadows,
with my hands and eyes,
woven into his picture,
that nobody knows exists.

When I see him,
my heart races,
When he smiles my heart catches fire.
My love for him burning,
to the point it almost explodes.

He sees me,
It's like I'm not there.
Knowing I'm nothing,
my heart bleeds,
like it's been stabbed,
over and over again.

More scares appear,
as each day goes by.
As I sit there in the shadows,
knowing I am nothing,
To the one I love most.
