You and your heartbreaking lies

by mary jetton   Dec 30, 2005

My life used to be great.
Hardly a scrape was left upon my fragile heart.
Until you stepped into my life.
With lies behind every word that you said.
Now my heart lay torn and broken,
with scrapes,
and scares,
and wounds,
and stitches.
All because of your lies.
it bleeds,
and spills.
You left me here trapped in a room full of lies that will never be forgotten.
Because of you,
It will lay hopelessly torn to pieces,
in it's very own blood.
And ever since you left me,
I've been a complete mess.
For days I've been trying to stitch my heart back together,
the pain is intense,
and my vivid red eyes cry non-stop for hours at a time.
Why did you have to cause me so much pain.
I only wish you could feel what you have put me through.
All because of you,
and your heartbreaking lies.
