Moments

by NissY   Dec 30, 2005

In silence we grieve
for the moments we missed
we end up stargazing
for we have neglected
what would have been...

Well,
you never know till you try..

The moments pass us
While looking at us straight in the eye
But we are simply too afraid to utter a reply.
Or hold out our hands and grasp
what could be...

Well,
You never know till you try.

bound to our beliefs
we can't wander far
For we might no longer belong
To where we were once were

" Take a chance "

Easier said then done.

weigh the odds
For once you wander far
There is no turning back

Contemplating in silence

But alas,
When you have made up your mind
The moment is no longer there.

It silently withdraw
further into the night
while you were trying to make sense out of this life.

And so a moment has passed
Never to be seen again
unless you were lucky enough
to be offered a second chance
