Saying Good-bye

by Jesslyn   Dec 31, 2005

I'm going to a place
Where I remember the face.
But where I am to go
There's not one I really know.

In the car
Going somewhere far.
To see my dead grandmother.
A funeral? yes another.

I already said my good-byes
When she could open her eyes,
When she could still smile.
But I guess it has been a while.

So I'm going because Mom said.
That's the only reason in my head.
I must say good-bye,
As if she were alive.
