Sister (Revised)

by Bill Turner   Jan 4, 2006

Accepting me as I am
Judging not what I have done
Open minded and caring
Hearing all I have to say

Reliable beyond compare
Anytime, anywhere
My anchor in a stormy life
Giving me a brighter day

Knowing she can count on me
Yet, she never does
Opening up to me more
Discussing the past, plotting the future

One of the strongest people I know
Strength lying within her heart
A ship unto a storm
Always true to her course

Never have we been closer
Despite the miles apart
Nothing I would not do were she to ask
I love you, my sister
