Typical Day

by LadyPearl   Jan 5, 2006

Fresh cut grass, leaping into the silent air
very strong, but yet, fading away
Young, baby flowers, budding out in care
each growing in it's unique way

Rain drops dessiminate against the cold ground
Worms scurry out and about
Each little creature moves without a single sound
But they are there, without a doubt

The sun rising into the challenging sky
painting colors so brilliantly hued
Awaiting in patience for us to open our eyes
wondering today, what we'd do

Then a fog drifts over the abandoned streets
as children look upon in wonder
The fog lasting days and almost weeks
Still the children watch in splendor

Nature around us whereever we seem to go
It's our life, the comfort we seek
Always whispering, singing and caressing so
A necessity we really need
