My True Colors

by myshiningstar14   Jan 7, 2006

Beneath the crimson sky of my tear-stained face, your eyes like silk lace that hold me together inside. The true colors of my soul illuminates from the depths of your love.

Shadowed by the rejection of this world; I simply find that all truth lies in you. I lay it all down, with my colors out in the open, you come and make me new. Forever my true colors lye in you.

Above and beyond the tears and the pain, I know you'll never forget my name. That's why my trrue colors begin and end in you.

Reflected by the love you show, I see that everything comes from you. I bear it all, in your name and with my purified innocence out in the open I lay it all down again.
