Wonderful Day

by Monique   Jan 7, 2006

At home all alone,
Waiting by the phone.

Hoping it will ring,
Then your voice will sing.

Staring into space,
Sitting infront of the fireplace.

Wishing you'll knock on my door,
That's all I ask for.

Under the mistletoe we'll stand,
Holding each other close hand in hand.

Lip on lip we begin to kiss,
All other troubles we dismiss.

I'm floating on a cloud,
Going around and 'round.

You were my first,
The only one on my list.

My dream has come true,
I hope yours has too.

Your arms tightly around me,
As you kiss me gently.

My lips begin to quiver,
My body shiver.

Your fingers running through my hair,
Into your eyes I stare.

Your hands going down my side,
The joy in your eyes, you don't hide.

The snow falling down,
It covers the ground.

What a wonderful day that would be,
The day you kiss me gently.
