Desperate For Your Love

by Monique   Jan 7, 2006

I sit by my window,
The moon won't cast a different light.
Stare into my world of nothing,
How I wish you were in sight.

Memories of you, everywhere,
Drowning me, for you cannot see.
I cherish you,
And want to kiss you passionately.

You see right through me, like I don't even exist,
You don't know what you've done to me.
I lie awake at night thinking...
Why I need you so desperately.

I close my eyes,
There you stand.
Why do you torture me so?
I wish we were hand in hand.

But to you I don't exist,
So that cannot be.
I love you and...
You see her, and not me.
