Dreams

As I drown in my dreams
They tear me apart from the seams
I've fallen from grace
I can see it on his face

It wasn't good enough for him
So I wasn't good enough for them

I look at what I could be
And I see him glaring back at me
From him I will never be free

Can you even consider me alive
when you see the emptiness in my eyes
I can no longer feel
Nothing seems real

I no longer have dreams
As terrible as that seems
Yet now I have no wants and no needs
I only bleed
