Dear Mr. Murderer,
I’d like to inform you
My brother’s funeral went well
On the 25th of June
I hope you understand
You not only killed my brother
But my dad and sister hurt as well
Along with me and my mother
I hope you know I hate you
I think you’re an evil man
I hope you realize the blood of my brother
Will never be washed off your hands

Dear Mr. Murderer,
Why’d you do what you had to do?
You killed an innocent boy
What’d he ever do to you?
Did you not know you broke a law?
Running a stop sign isn’t allowed
I bet you feel pretty guilt
Am I wrong, or do you feel proud?
I hope the guilt you feel
Tastes as good as that beer
Because you’re drinking night
Caused my brother to not be here

Dear Mr. Murderer,
I heard you were in jail before
According to the police
In the summer of ’69 you robbed a store
So do you do this for a living?
Do you just have an evil soul?
Do you like to be known as a predator?
Was taking a life your goal?

Dear Mr. Murderer,
Enjoy your life in jail
Rot in there and starve to death
I hope you never get out on bail
I hope spiders lay eggs in you
I hope rats eat your head
I hope someone runs over you
And causes you to be dead

Dear Mr. Murderer,
Please send me a postcard
Of how awful the food is
And how you get beat by the guards
I hope you change your ways
After hearing from me
And any time now
I’ll accept your apology

Dear Mr. Murderer,
Why were you drinking?
If you don’t mind me asking
What were you thinking?
Everyday now when I mourn
I feel like I’m being stabbed with a knife
Because I hurt so much
Because you took my brothers life

My brother will never return to the world
