All Hail

All hail the Vietnam war
The second chapter is about to unfurl
All hail to the Iraqi war
A battle not worth fighting for

Send out all those young men
Ignorant and naive
Who believe
They're invincible
To young to perceive
To see
That death doesn't care if their still a child

And the mothers cry
As the fathers die
And the children play
Without realizing their life is crumbling

All those rock'n'rollers lay
Pray to their gods
Every day
That they will not tumble
Hoping they will not fumble
Because the world is harsh
They didn't realize
How mature you can grow
When you look into the enemies eyes

All hail the Vietnam war
The second chapter is about to unfurl
All hail to the Iraqi war
A battle not worth fighting for

What truth rings in your words. Second chapter of Vietnam indeed. Thank you for attacking this difficult subject to write on, I enjoyed it.
