An icy road

by cowgirlstar26   Jan 12, 2006

A pale lit morning sky

the cold dead of winter suppresses my mind

walking down the icy road

my chilled skin turning color from this cold

frozen tears are upon my face

as I look upon all the pain

breathing heavy,

my heart barely beating

I wonder why my soul's still bleeding

thoughts of you consume my soul

all this tho you already know

twilight emerges from the darkened sky

brooding over everything

covering up all the lies..........

Wow, it's beautiful in a way, different, almost sad, but very good, nice poem
