The Lost Ones

by Cody   Jan 19, 2006

I'm one of the lost ones
Who just can't understand fun
There are may of us in this life
We just want to give up the fight

We feel alone
laying in the gutter where we're thrown
We are the unwanted
not the perfect children who are flaunted

We are shown nothing but disdain
Not enough love to keep us sane
So we stay in the coffin where we're lain
Can everyone else see the pain

We don't know which way to turn
As we watch our lives burn
But the cold place in our chest
Knows it's for the best
If we leave and never return
And let it all burn
