The House of Mother Nature

The House of Mother Nature

As I sit listening to the winds,
I hear them speak to me.
They tap my shoulders with leaves,
Welcoming me into their home.

Under this giant oak I shelter,
from all the worries in the world.
It is as if God was speaking to me,
Telling me that he is here.

Animals drink from a brook nearby,
the water makes a soothing sound.
So peaceful it is in this forest,
it helps take away all my troubles.

Sitting on this grass so green,
I lean against the giant oak.
This tree reaches into the skies,
almost touching the heavens.

Right here is where I am free,
to get lost in this peaceful setting.
The animals and trees are my friends,
I am in mother nature's home.

Sounds absoluetly enchanting, what a way to open this piece, I can almost feel it all happening to me.

Yea, when you're out in nature, it does feel like that! Well-expressed, every line is so attracting to me.

Just thinking of this makes me shiver, the pleasure of it all, it seems like Heaven, doesn't it?

Great wording, deep and takes me through another world..

This is the way I feel too, and you wrote this beautifully, I can imagine it so clearly that its like I could reach out and touch it. Beautiful work as always, take care. 5/5 from me.

Wowwwwww, you just took me into nature with this brilliant poem.
I heard the winds, the soothing sound of water and felt the leaves on
my shoulders. That was great darien. Thanks!
The 4th stanza was interesting to me. It tells the reader that leaning
Against the ones who almost touch heavens brings peace of mind
For us and you wrote it down in a beautiful poetic way.
Thanks for the lovely journey again. I hadn’t been in nature for
    so long.

    Take care,
    marjan
