Mami don't look at me
Doctor stay away
I don't want you to see
The fresh cuts I made today

Little sister don't cry

I know what this blade can do

Dad just shut your mouth

That all that yelling and shouting
Hurts more than if you raised your hand

I just cant believe the things you did to me
Using and abusing me

I wonder if i cut too far
Would I even be missed?

I smile at th drops of blood
And deceive the honest truth
And every cut that I make with you
I think of my stolen youth

I don't know why I do it
But it eases my pain
The blade is like the lighting
Edging the blood to pour like rain

Sometimes I wonder
Why I even keep you by my side
But your the only thing I can trust
My trusty blade I have to hide

Don't try to understand
The relationship we have created
The blade is my way to breathe
No matter how much I hate it
