Running through Faerie Tales

by JL   Jan 22, 2006

Run, run, run
Fast as you can
No one can catch me
Not even the gingerbread man

A house of straw
Begins to rise
But it falls
When I fly on by

Run, run, run
In the quiet woods
Evading everyone
-Even Robin Hood

Dashing right on by
Mermaid Lagoon
Whilst the big, bad wolf
Howls at the moon

Run, run, run
Past a growing pumpkin
Blew by so fast
I missed the girl within

Silently I crept
to a brick wall
Yup, that was me
Who caused Humpty to fall

Run, run, run
Ignore the sleeping Aurora
Turned left and
Saw the evil Ursula

Big rock ahead
Hear Simba roar
Glanced up and look-
Peter Pan can soar!

Run, run, run
Beauty flees from beast
A giant shoe stands erect
To the southeast

Slowing down now
For I see mother goose
Miss Muppet sits
but a spiders on the loose

Run, run, run
Hey, theres Pinky and the Brain
Brain smiles and winks
Cause we are both mentally insane
