My screams grow faint

I cant handle this pain
it cuts down so deep
i have nothing to gain
I'm not even safe in my sleep

my nightmares overpower
my screams grow faint
watching the dead flower
suffering its fate

my eyes swell with tears
rolling down my face
they can smell my fear
i must leave this place

theres nowhere to hide
i have no place to go
i wont let myself cry
i cant let them know

I'm not safe in a tunnel
I'm unsafe in my closet
nowhere am i safe
not even in my sleep
