Hunger

by Steph   Jan 26, 2006

He clutches his stomach
And feels the pain
He knows he's really sick
But there's nothing to be done

His stomach grumbles
How long since there's been food
While walking he stumbles
From pure weakness

He can barely walk
Without thinking of food
How is he supposed to talk
To get food for himself

His younger sister
Already dead from hunger
As great as a twister
The pain and agony she felt

Rich kids with lots of food
Always say "I'm starving!"
With an awful mood
But there's real kids here
Starving not a scrap in sight

This is too sad for words, but oh so wonderfully written
