Welcome the Embrace

by Lost Soul 691   Jan 27, 2006

Everyone needs a moment
to hide for self reflection
but dangers lurk for those
lingering long in retrospection

push apart the branches
yell "darkness go away"
for sunshine will still reach thru
the denseness of the trees

shake away the cobwebs
yell "spider spin elsewhere"
for dewdrops will still sparkle
on other coverings to unveil

kick hard at the stones
yell "move out of the way"
for rains will still wash over
turning pebbles into grains

new life is all around you
bursting forth on it's own
magical moments will unfold
just turn unto it's embrace

That was lovely! its a really uplifting poem. it was a bit confusing though, for your first stanza rhymed, yet the others didn't. i enjoyed the language used. it gave more cepth to the poem.
