You're Not There

by AnCi   Jan 29, 2006

Evey night when I try to get some sleep
I hear your voice calling me
I sit up in my bed to see you
But you're not there
When I'm on a party, dancing
I can feel your eyes watching me
I turn around to look for you
but you're not there
Every time I'm lost in my dreams
I see your hand reaching for me
I reach out to grab yours
But then I snap back to reality and realize
That you're not there
Every morning when I look in the mirror
I see you standing right being me
I turn around to see if it's really you
but you're not there
I have to be strong
I have to make it on my own
I have to learn to live this life alone
because you're not there
