Let the Winds Blow

by The Wingless   Jan 30, 2006

People of the night,
Far beyond the future,
Come to see you,
They see the light.

People of the night,
Far beyond the past,
Take your hand,
They have the might.

Concept clouds what I feel,
I no longer know what is real,
I thought I still had a chance to grow,
I thought I wouldn't die in sorrow.

I want to be freed from the spell,
I want to find what's good and well,
Nothing will last forever,
And we are nothing.

And look up at the sky, and you will hear,
Four clouds singing, looking dear,
All is changing with the day,
No matter where you are, your heart is here.

Good will cloud what you hear,
Bad will cloud what you fear,
Set them free, say goodbye,
Let them know, you're not going to cry.

Free the winds from the spell,
Let them see the world awake,
Let the winds blow again,
They shall create their own story.

This is one poem that actually wasnt too good with rhyming, they are kind of overused pairs (hear fear), but other wise a good poem
