Memories and Cemeteries

by Taylor Anderson   Jan 30, 2006

Thoughts too complicating to comprehend
Trying to figure out the memories in my head

Shattered by pain and reality
Unable to go on

Take a walk through the lifeless streets I call home
Turn into the empty graveyard, all alone

Kneel down by the stone cross, and pray
Oh please God, kill me now, before I do it myself

This life is too much for me to handle
I have no use for it any more

Love tears me apart, and throws me to the river
Hell beckons for me to stand at its gate

Turn out of the graveyard, all alone
No one to hear my sorrow

The sky has turned black, and it has started to rain,
It drags me down as I walk home, all alone

Hey Taylor, I was reading some of your poems and I liked this one the
best. the title is good. and one can
imagine the atmosphere when they read it. so, that was really amazing.
and I liked this part the best which says:
Take a walk through the lifeless streets I call home
Turn into the empty graveyard, all alone

    may you be happy,
    marjan

I like these two parts the most, I found them to have perfect flow and narration.

Love tears me apart, and throws me to the river
Hell beckons for me to stand at its gate

Turn out of the graveyard, not alone
Conscious remembered, pressing at my back

    Those are awesome!

I like this poem it's great, if you could just increase the length....

Uhh, I think the ending is a little weak and that the poem is cut short though.

    Other than that good job.

If you weren't already in my favo(u)rites I would have put you there now.
