This Box

by UnderAge Dying   Jan 31, 2006

Enclosed in this box
is everything that means
something to me
it's everything you used to be
its everything that was good

It's how things should have stayed
its how much i miss you

Enclosed in this box
is all my feelings
everything thats bottled up inside
everything that hurts

Enclosed in this box
is everything I'm not
all the demons that always catch up
all your wishes of who you wish
i would be

Enclosed in this box
is the only hope i have left,
the one strand thats keeping me alive

Enclosed inside this ancient box,
The box of my favorite shoes that you bought me,
is a picture,
a picture of a family, smiling like crazy.
what ever happened and why can't i let this go?
I'm sorry if i did anything.
I'm sorry if its all my fault.
I'm sorry I've kept this so long

but its the only thing that keeps me holding on.

***sorry, having MAJOR writers block and i know like all of my work has been really short. comments and votes appreciated greatly. thanks***
