Childishness

by Casey   Feb 2, 2006

I would love to live a fairy tale,
To be a maiden in distress
To live in childish detail

Through the skies I'd sail
Hand in hand with Peter Pan
I would love to live a fairy tale.

To stumble upon a fairy's vale
And compare my height to Thumbelina's
To live in childish detail

Iâd be there to hear "All hail
Cinderella and her prince!"
I would love to live a fairy tale.

I would speak with the whales
The way Ariel taught me to
To live in childish detail

Childhood enchantments never fail
To make me dream of something more.
I would love to live a fairy tale,
To live in childish detail.
