Your Picture on the Wall

by Debra Reisinger   Feb 3, 2006

Standing there, looking up,
Watching the tears begin to fall,
Confused of my surroundings,
Staring at your picture on the wall,
A few months had passed,
I was finally told the truth,
You weren't coming back,
For God had needed you,
Yet I still don't understand why,
He would take something so special from us,
Did he know how much you meant to me?
If so, then why did he feel this must,
You could of been there for me,
In so many different ways,
Now i have to look to God,
And hope you get my prayers
The day that man ran that light,
Changed so much in my life,
Taking you for out our sight,
Putting you above the whole world,
Still, I stand there looking up,
Watching the tears begin to fall,
Confused of my surroundings,
Staring at your picture on the wall.
