Until the Secrecy Ends

by The Wingless   Feb 3, 2006

I am the first...

A shadow on the wall,
At the end of the hallway,
I spin the top,
The laughter slowly fades,
From fingers on your lips,
I think I stole something precious.

I am the second...

Alone in the crowd,
Of faceless people,
I'm someone caught,
In useless dreams,
I scream to try and wake up,
My voice disappears,
Only the dead hear me,
Only the dead see me.

I am the third...

A master,
Of endless tears,
A reality,
I hold the lies like a torch,
Shadows linger around me,
Eyes follow the thoughts,
Until the Secrecy ends.

    Mike,

I don't know what it is about this poem but it rules!, I love the last stanza

    A master,
    Of endless tears,
    A reality,
I hold the lies like a torch,
    Shadows linger around me,
    Eyes follow the thoughts,
    Until the Secrecy ends.
