Nightmares

by The Wingless   Feb 3, 2006

I run and fall,
I was ripped away,
From what I thought was right,
Look at me now,
What did you see?
My body or my soul?
Because both are gone.
Disappearing now,
Disappearing from the night.

All these nightmares,
That I used to have as a child,
Turn into realities,
As I grow older with the day.

The morning always came,
But never fast enough,
I don't remember what,
I forgot to hide,
Could the nightmares,
Still be here?
I don't know.

In or out up or down,
Never know if it's an illusion,
Round and around on forever.
Every day, spins my confusion.

No, please! Not again!
From this dream,
I can't awake,
What is real, what is real,
It's really getting hard to tell,
What I need,
I don't know.

Yesterday again,
I experience it today,
The same door,
Swings back and forth,
Every day of my life.

In or out up or down,
Never know if it's an illusion,
Round and around on forever.
Every day, spins my confusion.
