Maybe Tomorrow

by Kim   Feb 4, 2006

As soft the music of the leaves
Flutters in the warm and gentle wind
I close my eyes and I smile
As I see your face again

Your voice rings ever hauntingly
Beneath these silver stars
It's easy to imagine you here
Instead of away so far

The lapping of the water
Against the river's sandy bank
Entrances me in the ripples
Of pebbles as they sank

And this quiet reflection
Is just another connection of you to me
In every nuance of nature
It's only you I see

The brilliant oceans that seperate us
Rumble deeply in the night
But it will take more than Time
To remove you from my life

And so I lie in silent reverie
Underneath the trees that sway
Waiting patiently to see you again
Maybe tomorrow but not today
