Material World

by Chris Harding   Feb 4, 2006

A law upon ourselves
A world apart
Torn from reality
Driven by music
Misinterpretation of a peaceful message

Was his beating worth it?
His broken bones
Torn skin
Shocked strangers
Friends too afraid to help
Did the fear make you feel
Nauseous?
Powerful?

A fragmented unity
Society divided
The passionate teenager
Its tragic victim
And its frontline front line
Who are you to control
Who lives and who dies
By what music they decide
To listen to

What shame do you carry
For irrational aggression
To hate those who
Are only different
In your material world

Knife through the heart
A poisoned gift from
An unknown enemy

Its the same for all of us
Why should we live in fear
Of being struct down
Bstrictidty from astupidity?

Ho w can we call ourselves human
When we loathe everyone
Not a copy of ourselves

What are we fighting for anyway?

Cheers thanks alot for the comments - another correction error I just noticed! Lol:

    It's tragic victim
    And it's frontline soldier

... Jeez... I really am getting sick of this thing butchering stuff, I'm gunna complain! :P
