A Single Tear

by Sora Chi Kaminari   Feb 4, 2006

Holding the knife close to her wrist
Trying to find her so called bliss
The pictures of him clouded her mind
As the blood gently fell off the knife
She didn't like cutting, but it took some pain
Day by day it was worse until she was about insane
Tears clouded her cobalt blue eyes
Walking to school, feeling her heart tie
She knew he'd push her around again
Her wrist wrapped up, time for another horrible day to begin
There he was with that perfect girl
That perfect wench, his little pearl
As she walked by he smirked at her
Her heart raced fast, her vision became a blur
He was messing with her she knew
But she couldn't help it, her reactions just flew
The chains on her clothes
Her dark Gothic clothes
She mentally hit herself and watched him curse
She was ready to disperse
He would always make a big show
She felt fragile, more fragile than a doe
He was the most popular boy in school
How she thought herself a fool
As she walked home, she could feel him follow
Why he continued, she felt quite hollow
Finally he grabbed her around the waist
Pulled her close made her black heart race
"No" she cried, "It wouldn't work"
His grip tightened, "I'll Make it work"
"Ai shiteru, my Kiobito," he whispered in her ear
She gave him a broken smile, falling a Single Tear

Ai shiteru- I love you
Kiobito- Love
