Black Broken Wings

by Sora Chi Kaminari   Mar 24, 2006

She walked through the graveyard cold and dull
Her Black Broken Wings, a broken soul

Her feet hit the ground with heavy steps
Cold green eyes; raven hair always a mess

Blinded by the sorrow and pain
Her mother and father gone; she felt insane

Knowing sadly they'll never come back
She fell at their grave with a low smack

Not a tear slid from her forest green eyes
She wished the rest of the world would just die

She wanted them to feel the pain, the hurt
To have all you loved murdered, her legs covered in dirt

The lightning strike the rain began to pour around
The feathers of her Black Broken Wings began to drown

It wouldn't leave her; not a single breath
The pain inside; too much death

Tears filled her neon green eyes; this couldn't be
The rain streaked her face as her tears flee

Her mind dead
Her soul had fled

A hollow body filled with pain
That only emotion was all that remained

Of all the world's most horrible things
Left by the grave; the feathers of her Black Broken Wings.
