You and him

by Miss Krueger   Feb 8, 2006

Sometimes you act real foolish and forget your goal, but in the end it's shining gold

You swore your heart to one you loved and recieved the broken pieces of that trust

When you look at him you feel so sore, he took everything you fought for

You loved and you helped her but he was the one, you had to let go of your life-giving sun

The eyes you used to look upon are staring in anothers, and you have to watch form the sideline, among all the others

Each word is linked together beautifully. You have a gift, this I can tell. You just need to work on making your poetry feel more natural. Every word doesn't need to always rhyme. By using different forms of writing that will give the reader more interest in the poem.
