Beyond The Silence

by David R Merry   Feb 9, 2006

They take for granted, their wealth, their leisure.
So much fun, but no real pleasure!
With no real insight, by week, and by day!
They hold no job, yet receive good pay!

For i am not bitter, or angry, or hurt,
At the idle Rich, though be alert!
They can hardly stand, from the weight of gold!
Whilst many go hungry, and live in the cold!

What we`d give, for what they`ve got!
Material things, money and stock.
So take your coin, and place it well!
On lottery, or syndicate, maybe a spell?

So have them take you, by your hand,
And walk you through their golden land!
Residing beside the suffering homeless,
Find the "Squandering Self Indulgers"
