Cupid's Last Arrow

by Void   Feb 9, 2006

Where must though wander, through mist, rain and storm
Traverce through the crevace, of valley scorned.
The serpent that hides within shattered hearts
Strike us with venom that tears us apart.
So long I lay, with courage unbroken
But false hope doth fade, when love's unspoken.
Rid me of hatred, let me overcome
To re-appear in thing eye, the love of one.
I pray to the arrow, flee from your home
Cut through winded clouds, pierce two tired souls.
Oh angel who holds such sweet surrender
Hit him again, I will love no other.
