Strange Feeling

I can't seem to shake it off
this strange feeling that i feel
I've never felt like this before
which makes me wonder if its real

I'm not sure if i like it
it makes me feel happy and warm
i feel i can do anything
and it makes me want to perform

my body is rigged with excitement
which I'm trying so hard to hide
but it seems to get much stronger
and i can't keep it locked inside

I'm still trying to fight it
with not very much success
but as it's all endured
i seem to hate it less and less

in fact it makes me feel great
it brings a smile upon my face
i feel in the best of moods
as i roam from place to place

I'm filled with happiness, hope and love
I'm one of those merry fools
i thought love was a thing for the weak
but now i think that it rules
