Leave me alone to think
To contemplate my sorrow
My pain is building inside me

Will you yell and scream some more
Tear me up inside
Will I go to school depressed but smiling
Locking my feelings in my mind

Will I go on pretending
Acting every day
I can't feel anything but emptiness
My pain won't go away

Knowing that nothing's all right
