Vanity

Vanity

Vanity is in my veins / Vanity drives me insane / I try hard but fall back in - inside this barrel, full of sin. / We lose all our dignity / hunger for what we don't need / but I can't help it - don't you see? /It's vanity / it's vanity. // Hedonistic pleasure - seeking / overindulging, never feeling, / we'll stop giving, but keep taking, / it's vanity / it's vanity. // And it's all for me / my satisfaction, / excuses that I'll use, / to please / to ease / my discontent, / I won't repent, / against this way of living / never giving / I'm like the rest
I won't contest / this vanity / my vanity, / I'm innocent, / I really am / I'll say this now, / because I can / It's not my fault / I'm just the same, / this vanity - it's in my veins.

Yeah I know i used to flame people for posting stuff like this without proper stanzas, but I have seen the light,so to speak, and this is the only way I can present it sounding how I want it too. It's actually meant to be read fast, hence why it just runs on and on with no breaks.
