Why am I so unsatisfied?
With the way I look.
No matter how hard I try,
I just can't seem to accept,
The face I call my own.

I see different then everyone else,
And I wish I could see the same.
Why do I see a frowning girl,
Always frustrated with the world.

The past, I can't seem to forget,
And the present, just seems to be more difficult.
And the future, I can't seem to relax and wait for.

Some people I want to leave behind,
Along with their selfish antics,
And inconsiderate personalities.

Then I think of the people I love,
Who will carry me into the future.
To make a new beginning,
Of what becomes my adulthood.
And everything just seems.....

perfect.. for just that pure incredible moment,
That you know, life will be prosperous.
