In the corner

by master of shadow   Feb 15, 2006

In the corner of the room,
She sits staring,
But seeing nothing,
She sits in darkness,
Never to move,
Empty and hollow,
Fears of which she will never speak,
To her all looks bleak,
She sees no point,
No reason to live,
But also none to die,
Here she will remain,
Immersed in the darkness of her mind,
In the blackened corner,
Eternally alone,
Forever trapped,
Out of reach,
And beyond all help,
Merely existing,
In the corner,
Sitting and staring,
Until the end.

I like this. It's like somebody I know.
