I stand alone

I stand alone,
with no one by
my side,
just me and my
soul deep inside.
I'm surrounded
in a room with
no light,
just standing
on my own with
no one in sight.
I'm really cold,
and day by day,
I keep growing old.
As I stand alone,
I open my arms,
waiting for that someone
to hug me and to
keep me warm.
As I stand,
I'll wait for that someone
to come into my sight,
and to bring my
life some light
